Write access to data flash failed.

â–¶ How to fix

Step.1: If Newer SW is available: Reflash the SW. Step-2: Perform proper Clamp_15-Reset with stable PowerSupply as follows: - Vehicle in Stand-Still (0kmph, Parking-Brake-Engaged) - Clamp_15_ON + wait 5 seconds - Clamp_15_OFF + wait 5 seconds - Clamp_15_ON + wait 5 seconds - If Error is still active (DTC-Status-TestFailed) remain with Step-3 Step-3: If DTC is no longer active in the next ignition cycle, then it is recommended to check parts related to the PowerSupply (Battery, Cables, Connectors, Generator...) for any weeknesses. Step 4: Replace the power pack if the DTC is still active.

What you'll see

The driver might detect reduction in Assistance/Hard Steering due to reduced electrical support.

System reaction

Set the Yellow Lamp to "On". Set the signal EASState to ERROR. Set the EPS motor torque to 0 Nm. Electric steering system is inactive. Software Endstops are deactivated. DTC, KFC_ERROR_MODE_ACTIVE is set ACTIVE in the same Klemme-15 cycle.

Diagnostic depth

Detection

The DTC will set during the following condition: 1.System state: NMWait, PreDrive, DriveDown, DriveUp, PostRun, Off, Error, Flash, LowVolt. 2.System voltage is above 6v. 3.System voltage is below 42v.

Possible cause

1. Wrong software version flashed to powerpack. 2. Defective powerpack. 3. Internal Data Flash error.
