Reductant tank
Carry out the test "Checking SCR system heating" using SDP3 under EEC3>Inspection>Troubleshooting>Individual inspections. This test checks the valve in the reductant tank heating system. If the valve cannot be closed, it must be renewed. If the valve can be closed: Check the reductant tank temperature sensor using SDP3. If the temperature sensor indicates incorrect values, it must be renewed. Check that the installation is approved by Scania.

Diagnostic depth
The temperature in the reductant tank has been above the permitted level.
Possible causes: Fault in the reductant tank temperature sensor. The valve in the reductant tank heating system cannot be closed. The reductant tank's ambient temperature is too high. This only applies to installations not approved by Scania.
