Fuel injection for exhaust gas aftertreatment

â–¶ How to fix

Proceed as follows: Carry out the test "Checking fuel injection for exhaust gas aftertreatment" using SDP3. The test is stopped if the air pressure in the valve block is too high.If the test is stopped: Check whether the sensor measuring air pressure indicates correct values, e.g. by increasing and reducing the pressure in the pipe between the air control valve and the fuel injection nozzle.If the pressure sensor indicates correct values: Remove the pipe between the fuel valve and the fuel injection nozzle. Start the engine and check to see whether the fuel valve is leaking.Check that the pressure in the pneumatic system of the vehicle is not too high. If the pressure is too high, the parking brake circuit must be checked.When the fault has been rectified the fault code can be deactivated by carrying out "Checking fuel injection for exhaust gas aftertreatment" using SDP3.

Possible causes: Fault in the pressure sensor which measures air pressure in the valve block.The fuel valve in the valve block cannot be closed.The pressure in the pneumatic system of the vehicle is too high.
