Fuel injection for exhaust gas aftertreatment
Proceed as follows: Carry out the test "Checking fuel injection for exhaust gas aftertreatment" using SDP3. The test is stopped if the fuel pressure in the valve block is too high.If the test is stopped: Check whether the sensor measuring fuel pressure in the valve block indicates correct values, e.g. by increasing and reducing the pressure in the pipe between the fuel valve and the fuel injection nozzle. If the pressure sensor indicates correct values: Remove the coolant pipes to the fuel injection nozzle. Start the engine and check that coolant reaches the injection nozzle.Check that the engine fuel pressure is not too high. If the pressure is too high, the high pressure pump must be checked. When the fault has been rectified the fault code can be deactivated by carrying out "Checking fuel injection for exhaust gas aftertreatment" using SDP3.

Diagnostic depth
The fuel pressure in the valve block for exhaust gas aftertreatment is too high when the fuel valve for the fuel injection nozzle is open.
Possible causes: Fault in the pressure sensor which measures fuel pressure in the valve block. The engine fuel pressure is too high.Fault in the cooling of components for exhaust gas aftertreatment.
