Battery over voltage
â–¶ How to fix
Clear the fault code if an auxiliary starting device has been used and check that the fault is not generated again. Otherwise check alternator, battery, connector and cable harness.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
The system goes into locked gear. No solenoid valves are used and no other fault codes reported. When the voltage returns below 36V the system is returned to normal operation. For vehicles with retarder: No retarder braking is possible
Diagnostic depth
Detection
Control unit supply voltage over 36V.
Possible cause
The auxiliary starting device has probably been used and supplied the electrical system with too high a voltage for a short period of time. Components or cable harnesses may be defective.
