The fault code is generated if the sensor value deviates too much from the rotational speed signals from the engine, main shaft, tachograph and ABS.
Possible cause
The rotational speed sensor for the layshaft is defective, or the cables to the rotational speed sensor are damaged. The fault code may faulty be generated during workshop tests on the engine.
