No action is needed if DTC is set a few times (1-5). If set frequently, replace ECU.

If the TCC is restarted the driver will notice it by buttons not working .

The ECU software continuously performs checks for unexpected or illegal events, The DTC is set if such an event is detected. E.g. Memory modification outside memory modification time box.

System flaws. Software bugs or hardware failure.
