Timeout on CAN message for accelerator pedal position (PTC2).
Clear the DTCs and start the engine. Turn the ignition on and off a few times. If the DTC is set once again, check the wiring and clean the connectors. If this does not help, check that TMS recieves ignition voltage (U15) at the same time as COO. If everything else is OK, replace COO and if all else fails replace TMS.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
The engine is degraded to increased idle speed and accelerator pedal is disabled, the vehicle can only be driven on engine idle speed.
Diagnostic depth
Continuous monitoring of signal.
Communication between COO and TMS is not working. If the DTC has been set once, the reason might be that the Coordinator has been exchanged or reprogrammed. If this DTC is set frequently, it is probably due to connector or wiring issues.
