No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
Reduced retarder function: Braking is only allowed using the hand lever and no other auxiliary brake function. The retarder will not disengage when the accelerator pedal is depressed. The retarder is disengaged only when the hand lever is returned to its top position.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
Continuous control. Fault code is detected when driving above 10 km/h.
Possible cause
There is no information from BMS as to whether the ABS system is working correctly.
